How to Use a VPN

Review the process before you start

VPNDI follows a straightforward sequence: create an account in the user panel, choose a suitable plan, and complete checkout. Once the plan is active, open the account overview to get the subscription linked to your account. Then open the client downloads section, choose the client for your device, and import the subscription. After import, the client displays the available routes; select one to connect.

A subscription is not an installer or a set of server parameters to type in manually. It passes the routes available to your account to the client. When route information changes, you generally only need to refresh the subscription in the client—there is no need to create another account or place another order. Once you understand how the account, plan, and subscription work together, the platform-specific steps become much easier.

Create an account and open the panel

Start at VPNDI’s free-start page. The registration form asks you to set a username and password; no email address is required. Use a username you can remember for future sign-ins and a password that is unique to this account. Submit the form to open the user panel. If you already have an account, use the “Log in” link in the top navigation instead of creating another one.

After opening the panel, confirm that you are viewing the current account overview rather than the login form. The overview brings together your plan status, subscription access, and next steps. It is normal not to have an active plan the first time you enter; open the Plans section next to make a selection. Bookmark the marketing homepage or the panel login instead of the registration form so future account management stays clear.

If the username is already taken, return to the field and choose another one. If the passwords do not match, enter the same password again as prompted. No client setup or subscription URL is needed at this stage; once the account is created, continue directly to plan selection.

Choose a plan and complete checkout

Open the Plans section in the user panel. VPNDI offers monthly subscriptions and data packages that remain available until used; they work differently. Monthly subscription data resets each month from the activation date and suits regular use. Data packages do not expire and suit devices with less predictable usage. Estimate your data needs first, then choose the term. There is no need to buy separately for multiple devices; the service supports use on unlimited devices.

Open the plan you want to use, then check its name, data allowance, and amount due before confirming the order. The payment page shows the currently available Alipay, WeChat Pay, or USDT options; follow the on-page instructions. Do not close a page while its result is still pending or submit the same order repeatedly. After payment, return to the panel, wait for the order status to update, and continue.

If your data needs grow later, check the upgrade options in the panel. When a monthly subscription is upgraded mid-term, the price difference is prorated over the remaining days, so confirm your current plan status before proceeding with the option shown. Get your subscription from the user panel

Once the plan is active, return to the account overview. Find the subscription section and choose Copy subscription or open the subscription details. The panel content is linked to the current account, so use the copy button. Do not select only part of it or remove anything from the beginning, end, or parameters after copying. Even one missing character can cause a format error in the client.

A subscription may appear as a long URL. The address below illustrates the format only; it is deliberately fake and cannot be used to connect:

Real subscription content is available only in the VPNDI user panel. This page does not publish a static subscription URL or direct installer links. After copying, do not share the subscription in public chats, forums, or screenshots, as someone else could use the account’s available data. If you shared it accidentally, check the reset options in the panel; if you are unsure what to do, contact support through a ticket.

Choose the section for the system you are using next. You only need to complete the import on one platform, not every platform. When you move to another device, open the client downloads section from the panel again and repeat the import process there.

Import the client for your device

The client reads the subscription, lists routes, and establishes the connection. Use the “Download clients” section in the user panel to find the entry for your system; do not look for installer files on unknown sites. Return to this page after installation and follow the steps for your system. Button labels vary between clients, but you should find an entry for configuration, subscriptions, or remote configuration.

Linux is supported as well. Because network management differs widely between distributions, get the client entry for your environment from the user panel during first-time setup. Choose a route and verify the connection

After importing, refresh the subscription in the client. Once the route list appears, choose a nearby region for the first connection; a shorter cross-border path is often easier to keep stable. Select a route and turn on the client’s connection switch. Desktop systems may show the status in the menu bar or taskbar, while mobile systems display a system VPN indicator. Both should match the client’s Connected status.

Once connected, do not judge the result by the button color alone. Close any target website or app that was already open, then reopen it for testing. Browser tabs, streaming apps, and AI tools may retain sessions created before the connection; simply refreshing may continue using the old state. The first check is complete when content loads normally after reopening and the client continues to show Connected.

If the target service is still unavailable, disconnect the current route and try another route in the same region. If nothing works, check whether the subscription can refresh, whether system permissions have been granted, and whether the client is using the correct connection mode. Do not run multiple similar clients at once, as they may compete for the same system network settings. Close the others and test with only the client you are using.

Refresh the subscription and switch routes

After the first connection is working, everyday maintenance comes down to two things: refresh the subscription regularly and choose a suitable region for the service you need. Refreshing syncs the current configuration from the user panel; it does not charge you again or require another account. If the client says a route cannot connect, refresh the subscription first, then try another route instead of repeatedly using an outdated list.

For regular international websites, start with a nearby route. For streaming services or AI tools with region-specific content, choose a region that meets the service’s requirements and reopen the app after switching. A farther route is not automatically better; once the target region is suitable, a more direct path is usually more stable. See the global server page for full coverage.

When you change devices, return to the user panel to get the client and subscription again. VPNDI supports Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and Linux, with use on unlimited devices. If you have several devices, configure one at a time: finish installation, import, and verification before moving to the next. This makes it easier to identify whether an issue comes from the account, the client, or one device’s settings.
